“Steps are for stepping, not sitting. Move it, Bucko!” she declares, making sure riders know exactly how to keep things moving. In another announcement, she urges New Yorkers: “Stop subway surfing. Ride safe, keep it cute and keep it moving.” The MTA dropped a video on social media with Cardi in action, instantly racking up views and laughs.
Cardi B, 32, has been making headlines lately for her creative album promotion tactics. She recently went viral after posting clips of herself “selling” her long-awaited second studio album, Am I the Drama?, right on subway trains and bustling street corners.
In one particularly memorable video, Cardi jokes about her record label slashing her budget to just $50 after filming her “Imaginary Playerz” music video—so she’s out there hustling CDs herself.
