The hip-hop world is buzzing after T-Pain recently took aim at Drake, suggesting the Toronto superstar hasn’t lived up to his own words about making a graceful exit from music. The comments, made during T-Pain’s appearance on the Crash Dummies podcast, have sparked a wave of reactions—including a passionate defense from none other than Offset.

Reflecting on a past conversation with Drake, T-Pain recalled, “Drake once told me, ‘I want to be one of those people who gracefully bows out, not someone who gets kicked out.’ But honestly, he hasn’t followed his own advice.” T-Pain went on to say, “Ever since then, I’ve tried to do just that—thank my fans, appreciate them, and step back. But Drake? He keeps coming back, saying, ‘Wait, I’ve got another one. Didn’t like that? Let me try again.’ It’s like he can’t let go.”

The remarks quickly ignited debate online. Some agreed with T-Pain’s perspective, while others accused him of throwing shade at Drake. Among Drake’s defenders was Offset, who didn’t hold back in the comments section. Captured by DJ Akademiks, Offset wrote, “Da boy is da boy, sh*t ain’t gone change. All that hating on another grown man who does more numbers than everybody is diabolical!!!!”

Drake himself also chimed in, responding to T-Pain’s comments on Instagram. “This guy always had resentment for me [laughing emoji],” Drake wrote. “You can hear it every time he speaks on my name.”
