Donald Trump has announced he’s looking to spend $175 BILLION on a missile defense system that we absolutely do not need — and take a wild guess who is the frontrunner to land the contract.
That’s right, of course it’s Elon Musk and his SpaceX company, along with his fellow techno-fascist Peter Thiel’s Palantir and Anduril companies. But to add insult to injury, Musk wants the contract to be a subscription-based missile defense system, so that the US government has to pay him and his company in perpetuity.

The idea of a subscription-based MISSILE DEFENSE SYSTEM is so breathtakingly stupid and greedy that it truly boggles the mind. But that’s just how these people think — every single public service and institution should only exist to funnel public money into the bank accounts of the ultrawealthy.
We cannot allow Elon Musk to set himself up a permanent payment plan at the expense of the American people, for something we don’t need and will only end up increasing global tensions with the militarization of outer space.
