Paris Hilton is the new owner of Mark Wahlberg’s former Beverly Hills mansion after paying a staggering $63.1 million.

Sources confirmed to Us Weekly that Paris, 44, and her husband, Carter Reum, closed escrow on Friday, June 20, to purchase the 30,500-square-foot property in the ritzy Beverly Park neighborhood. Paris and Carter’s new home is unusually massive for Beverly Hills, as it sits across six acres.

The sprawling three-story, 12-bedroom home comes with 20 bathrooms, dual staircases in the entryway and even a two-story library. Paris and Carter, 44, can enjoy lavish amenities such as a wine cellar and a private screening room inside, as well as a five-hole golf course and driving range, a skate park and a basketball court outside. (The basketball court was themed to Wahlberg’s beloved Boston Celtics when he owned the property.)

The Los Angeles Times reported in 2023 that Wahlberg, 54, offloaded the French-inspired residence for $55 million, after designing it with architect Richard Landry over a five-year period. Wahlberg originally asked for $87.5 million for his Beverly Park mansion when he put it on the market in 2022, but eventually had to slash $32.5 million from the price tag before it finally sold.

Paris’ new Beverly Park dwelling will make her neighbours with Justin BieberEddie Murphy and Adele, among many other Hollywood luminaries.

The former Simple Life star, who lost a previous home in the L.A. wildfires, hinted she was ready to move in May when her 2-year-old son Phoenix apparently spotted a ghost in her current residence. Paris shared a video where she quizzed her toddler about which room was haunted.

“Ghost this…” a spooked Phoenix started to reply, before reaching towards a door. “Ghost!”

At one point in the video, Phoenix seemed to be communicating with the spirit, telling it, “Room … Room… This is mama’s room!”

“Okay, we need to move now,” Paris replied.

The mom-of-two eventually asked her social media followers for their advice on whether she should take her son’s ghostly warnings seriously.

“Well, I’m spooked,” Paris captioned the video. “To all my #SlivingMoms, has this happened with your little ones? Would love to know… for research purposes.”

She was flooded with supportive responses, including some suggesting that Phoenix was likely just engaging in some imaginative play. Others warned Paris to take the ghost sightings seriously.

Luckily, there have been no reports of otherworldly inhabitants in the family’s new Beverly Park home. Paris even has the perfect party planner for a housewarming party, since she told Us Weekly in April that her mom, Kathy Hilton, has lots of experience throwing over-the-top celebrations.
